Akomo produces “acoustic lighting”. Akomo uses tailor-made plastic injection moulded plugs for the suspension.

When developing these plugs, Artori first explored the most suitable material. Given the intended numbers and the complexity of the mould, injection moulding was the only possible technology.
When designing, we had to take the thickness of the acoustic foam into account. The wings of the plug had to be as wide as possible to enable the plug to screw in smoothly.
